The International Journal of Chemical & Petrochemical Technology (IJCPT) is a multidisciplinary peer reviewed, open access journal with HIGH IMPACT FACTOR (JCC) that is concerned with exploration, production, processing and refining, storage and transportation, economical, managerial, business, environmental, safety and security issues related to oil, natural gas, and petrochemicals as well as manufacturing and refining of biofuels. The journal covers disciplines and fields related to oil and gas prospecting, production, processing and utilization as well as that of other energy sources.  The journal publishes original articles, review articles, in English  giving an overview of the contributions of complementary disciplines in tackling contemporary problems. All papers are subject to a double-blind reviewing process. Our dedicated technical and editorial team members from different fields of the discipline ensures the quality and review standard of our publications. IJCPT is currently accepting manuscripts; you can support this journal (IJCPT) by sending your manuscripts to us.

 
Types of paper
 
 

Regular articles: These should describe new, carefully confirmed findings, innovative & creative research ideas and experimental procedures should be given in sufficient detail for others to verify the work. The length of a full paper should be the minimum required to describe and interpret the work clearly.


Short communications: A short communication is suitable for recording the results of complete small investigations or giving details of new models or hypotheses, innovative methods, techniques, creative models etc., The style of main sections need not conform to that of full-length papers. Short communications are 2 to 4 printed pages (about 6 to 12 manuscript pages) in length.


Reviews:
Submissions of reviews and perspectives covering topics of current interest are welcome and encouraged. Reviews should be concise and no longer than 4-6 printed pages (about 12 to 18 manuscript pages). Review manuscripts are also peer-reviewed.

 
Publication Frequency: Four issues per year.
 
Submission: Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically thru the website  in the word document.

Handling Publication Misconduct:


We have Publication Ethics and Standard Committee which advices editors and publishers on all aspects of publication ethics and, in particular, how to handle cases of research and publication misconduct. It also provides a forum for its members to discuss individual cases and encourages editors to ensure that cases are investigated by the appropriate experts. Plagiarism in any form is not accepted and if found, it is notified to all the stakeholders and necessary actions will be taken.  Corrected manuscripts will be reviewed once again to ensure the originality. Plagiarism declaration has to be signed by all the authors.
